For air traffic controllers and ground controllers membership costs € 25 per month and for other functions € 20 per month.

What is the Guild Day regulation?

The Guild uses the system of “guild days” to compensate time to members who work for the Guild.

A guild day is a holiday. Each guild member gives an authorization to the Guild to claim one guild day from their leave day total every year. This results in a stock of guild days.

Guild days are used by the Guild to compensate members who participate in  activities, for which LVNL does not provide compensation.

All Guild members that perform work for the Guild may apply for a guild day, not just members of the Guild Board.

Here is the text contained in the statutes and rules:

A. Guild Days are intended to compensate for the time members, including board and committee / working group members spend, or have spent, on union business and for which no compensation is provided by the employer.

B. All members of the Guild make available one day per calendar year as "Gildedag" by tranferring, at January 1 of each year, one leave day to the Guild.

C. The Board determines the use of the available days and is accountable to the annual general meeting.

D. The board maintains a register, or holds record, showing the use of the guild days.

E. A guild day requested by the board in a roster to be published is recognizable as a Vg. To bring a guild day in the already published roster is only possible after consultation or the activity will be compensated in a following roster.

F. If the surplus of available Guild Day is so great that the annual transfer of days can be omitted, then the board will propose this to the annual general meeting.
